Building Confidence and Self-esteem (#S-6460)
How you feel about yourself is directly related to the results you get in your life. Positive self-esteem affects your health, relationships, work performance and attitude towards others. It affects how others see and treat you, the choices you make, and your ability to give and receive love. You can have confidence in what you do and still not feel good about yourself. This class will discuss issues that sabotage self esteem and show you how to overcome them. Topics include overcoming codependency, dealing with shame and guilt, and how to handle jealousy, how to eliminate critical self talk as well as how to deal effectively with criticism from others. The class focuses on identifying issues that block self esteem and how to replace them with ideas, tools and coping skills that create confidence and lead to success and personal well-being.

Assert Yourself - Personal Boundaries & Effective Confrontation (#S-6463)
Have you ever thought of the perfect thing to say, hours after the discussion/argument passed? If you were smart enough to think of it later, what stopped you from saying it when you needed to? Lack of Self-Esteem and good communication skills get in the way. This class explains a step-by-step method for confronting someone effectively and identifies ways to overcome being manipulated, controlled and intimidated due to differences in personality styles. We will identify and discuss the importance of personal boundaries and how they are essential to healthy relationships, confidence and personal integrity.
